Bio

Steve Alltop has learned through a unique and varied career that, whether fighting in the skies or developing high technology, the key to success most often comes down to leadership. He is committed to helping others develop the leadership skills needed to be successful in whatever endeavors they may face.

Steve is a 1981 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering. He holds a Masters of Aeronautical Sciences, an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional. Following graduation from USAFA, he was a distinguished graduate from Undergraduate Pilot Training and served with distinction as an aircraft commander in the A-10 Thunderbolt II, as a mission commander and instructor pilot in the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and as a chief pilot instructor in the T-38 Talon. He served as both the Operations Officer and Commander of the USAF's only T-38 Pilot Instructor Training squadron. Steve is a veteran of 40 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm. Steve also served with distinction in non-flying capacities in varying leadership positions for the Deputy Under-secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs and the Air Force Space Command's Space Warfare Center.

Following a 24-year military career, Steve joined the corporate world as a task lead for SI International/Serco NA, supporting the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) unit. There he provided project management support for diverse projects involving blue force tracking, covert communications, sensor prediction mission planning tools, and GPS accuracy enhancement while growing his company's footprint by more than 300%. Transitioning back to a small company, Steve joined LinQuest Corporation and successfully launched their first dedicated cyberspace business line. Steve also created and led a high performance team in an 18-month all-out effort to fast-track cyber space analysis and studies for Air Force Space Command.

Steve and his wife live near Colorado Springs. They have three children and three grandchildren. His interests include flying and woodworking.
