You Earned It! Why not showcase your leadership development achievements?

As an Academy Leadership Program Graduate, we invite you to add your program certification to your LinkedIn profile.

Certifications are an excellent way to show that you are committed to broadening your professional education, beyond a degree at a traditional university. Increase your marketability by spotlighting your leadership development in the Certifications section of your profile. Did you know that on average, LinkedIn members with certifications receive 6x more views to their profile?

How to Add a Certification from Academy Leadership to Your LinkedIn Profile.

  1. Log into your LinkedIn account and go to your personal profile page.
  2. If you already have the Certifications section added to your profile, simply scroll down to it, click on the plus (+) sign and skip ahead to step 4.
  3. If you DO NOT have a Certifications section added to your profile, click on the Add Profile Section button to the right of your name. Under Background select Licenses & Certifications.
  4. The Add Licenses and Certification Window will appear. Please complete the form as follows:
    1. Name — Copy and paste the name of the Academy Leadership Course you completed.
      • Leadership Foundations Course
      • Leadership Boot Camp and Performance Coaching
      • Leadership Excellence Course and Executive Coaching
      • Graduate Leadership Course and Executive Coaching
        (Prior to 2018: Advanced Leadership Course)
      • Gettysburg Leadership Experience
    2. Issuing Organization — Type in Academy Leadership and select our name and logo from the menu that populates. It will link the credential to AL’s LinkedIn profile
    3. This credential does not expire — Check Box
    4. Issue Date — enter the month and year you completed the course
    5. Credential ID — Leave Blank
    6. Credential URL — Copy and paste the link associated with the course you completed:
  5. Select Save and you are all set!
