Sean Haley

Bio

Sean Haley is a 1992 graduate of the US Naval Academy with 30 years of proven leadership experience and sustained superior performance across a diverse portfolio of challenging assignments. An accomplished Navy helicopter pilot and a recognized expert in financial analysis and professional development, Sean is passionate about leadership and personnel development. He had the privilege of commanding numerous H-60 helicopter units on extended overseas deployments in support of Navy Carrier Strike Groups. After earning a master’s degree at Air Command and Staff College, Sean served multiple staff tours at the Pentagon, overseeing Afghanistan campaign requirements on the Joint Staff and several major Navy acquisition programs on the Navy staff. Sean’s most recent assignment was Chief of Staff for Navy Region Southeast, the largest geographic region in the Navy Installations Command clemency, where he was responsible for eighteen installations and more than 100,000 personnel across the southeastern United States and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He also previously served as the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Jacksonville, the Navy’s Anti-Submarine Warfare Center of Excellence and the third largest U.S. Naval Installation in the world; with a population of over 20,000 personnel and an annual economic impact of $2.1 billion on the city of Jacksonville. Sean also commanded Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron - 74 where he had the privilege of leading three hundred Naval Officers and Sailors. One of the Navy’s first helicopter pilots selected to attend the prestigious Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor (SWTI) curriculum at Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center. Recognized by his peers as Pilot of the Year in 1998 and 2000, Officer of the Year in 2005, and with the Naval Air Forces Leadership Award in 2010. He is most proud of the numerous unit awards that his organizations have earned during his Naval career.

Sean resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife Annamaria, and sons Ryan and Jake.
